Clinical Courses in Health Care:Phlebotomy Technician**
Prepare to enter the medical field, or advance within it, by taking the Phlebotomy Program. Our program offers the student an intense look at the anatomy and physiology, theory and practical experience in venipuncture and specimen collection. You experience 80 hours of “hands” on in the classroom, in our own lab. A 120-hour clinical further provides the student with the experience and confidence they need to begin work immediately upon completion of the course and clinical. Our graduates are eligible to sit for a National Certification exams, including the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians exam.All three-week clinical internship rotations will follow after classes have finished. Clinicals are done on the day shift.

National certification is strongly encouraged. We offer the ASPT testing twice each year.Contact School for dates and times. ** This course is certified by the National Center for Compentency Testing(NCCT) and by the National Healthcareer Association(NHA) and our school is a certified testing site for the NHA National Certification Exam

*Information for all courses:
A high school diploma or GED are required for most courses. All clinical course students are required to provide written documentation that within the past year they:
have had a physical exam and are in good health
have had a TB test or chest x-ray and
have current MMR and Chicken Pox vaccinations
